The Crone House is a feminist art gallery based in Richmond, VA that showcases contemporary artwork by women-identifying artists. We curate art exhibitions, host pop-ups and art events, and support artists through community, visibility, and collector relationships.

You can buy artwork online or in person at our shows. Most works are one-of-a-kind with a limited run. See something you love? Email us at hello@thecronehouse.com or DM us on Instagram. We do not offer payment plans at the moment.

We work with feminist contemporary artists whose work has depth, edge, and a clear point of view. Many are based in Richmond or the Southeast U.S., while others are national and even international. Each show is curated with intention—no filler, no fluff.

We do not accept unsolicited submissions. Artists are invited through curation, referrals, or recommendations from our trusted network. If we’re meant to find you, we will. Please don’t cold pitch—we respect your time and ours.
